Die Gebrüder Dargus

Entsprungen aus einem Schoß, vereint durch Polyvinylchlorid. Matti und Björn kommen wirklich aus einem Genpool und noch wahrhaftiger ist der Familienname. Inspiriert durch Mutti’s Lateinamerika – Plattensammlung kam es wie es kommen musste. Während im Wohnzimmer originaler Cumbia aus der Robotron Anlage schallte und im Kinderzimmer Marshall Jefferson auf Kassette lief, kam die Initialzündung.

Sie hatten sich verliebt – in housig technoiden Wumms gepaart mit der Wärme einer Mercedes Soza. Genau ihr Ding. „Unseren Sound könnte man als ethnolastigen Tech House beschreiben, House trifft Worldbeat oder so ähnlich. Auf jeden Fall 100 Kilogramm Leidenschaft und Freude an der Musik“, so die Gebrüder. Unabhängig voneinander, waren im Jahr 2010 ihre Musikgeschmäcker so weit gereift, dass sich ein großes Ganzes ergeben hatte und sie ihr Debüt auf dem Festival der Freundschaft gaben. Seitdem hat sich eine schöne Sache daraus entwickelt. Überall in Deutschland sind Matti und Björn mit ihrem Postauto unterwegs und spielen in kleinen Klubs und auf verschiedenen Freiluftveranstaltungen. Mit klassischem
1210er Setup und ihrer großen Plattensammlung spielen sie am liebsten wenn der Mond scheint, die Sonne des Tages noch die Nacht wärmt und die Menschen fröhlich sind. Einen ihrer schönsten Momente hatten die beiden unter anderem auf einem kleinem Festival an der Atlantikküste Marokkos, wo sie unterstützt von den Percussions der Dorfbewohner spielen durften. Manchmal führt die musikalische Reise auch vom
Balkan über den afrikanischen Kontinent rüber nach Peru.
Das wissen sie auch nie so genau…

and technoid bang boom bang paired with the warmth of a Mercedes Soza. Just their cup of tea! „Our sound could be categorized as ethno like tech house, house meets worldbeats or something like that. Definitely 200 pounds of passion and enjoyment of music“, the brothers describing their style. In 2010 the brother’s taste in music was advanced so far and independently from each other, that a big whole has been developed of it. So they performed their debut on the „festival of friendship“ in that year.
Since then a beautiful thing has resulted thereout. With the yellow post car Matti and Björn are on the move everywhere in germany and playing in small clubs and on various open air events. With the classic 1210 setup and their huge record collection they prefer playing when the moon is shining, the sun of the day still warms the night and the crowd is happy. One of the most charming moments for them both has been a small festival on Morocco’s atlantic coast, where they were allowed to play supported by the percussions of the habitants.
Sometimes the musical journey leads from the balkans over the african continent over to Peru.
